Some incredible, inspiring use of projection:
Box from Bot & Dolly on Vimeo.
For the projections, we want to use video rather than images. This would probably be footage of cityscapes (as most of our target audiences live in/would like to live in the city), iconic landmarks and art.
Alternatively, we could use some interesting graphics or clips found on Vimeo, which operates under the CCAC, meaning that we would be allowed to use it for our own production.
TRI▲NGLE from Onur Senturk on Vimeo.
LA Light from Colin Rich on Vimeo.
THE BEAT OF NEW YORK from tim hahne on Vimeo.
Mirror City Timelapse from Michael Shainblum on Vimeo.
Maggie you have produced a tremendous amount of creative blogging! This is really helpful in terms of the design of your concept and inconsideration of the institutional context and audience identification of your music genre, so well done. I like the Powtoon Presentation - you do need to tidy up the Prezi posted and arrange the vidoe clip of casting in the right direction. Please ensure that I can access your Google documents - access is denied at the moment. The shooting schedule, call list and production schedule have been blogged, well done. You are evidently prepared to shoot your music video, so good luck in preparation for that – do remember to do a risk assessment and pay consideration to health and safety. You have managed to organise your shoot well. Research it the campaign could be developed further and I would lie to see you post your design for your CD digipak as soon as possible. You have been blogging the concept well with the use of a number of online technologies – so well done!
